About the Program

The YWE program is coming into its 12th year of operation, and the industry has seen it evolve over the years. Each year more and more nominations flow into Edmonton Tourism as more organizations recognize its value.

The 11th annual You’re Welcome Awards signaled a very important change for the program. The event changed from a presentation ceremony at the Winspear to a formal gala at the Shaw Conference Centre.

This gave the YWE program an opportunity to truly recognize our nominees and their contributions. It was our turn to serve them. It was our turn to give them a truly unique and special experience. It was their turn to sit back and enjoy the party on us!
