Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program

Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program

It’s a way to get key new people in place on the fast-track. The AINP is an immigration program operated on behalf of the Government of Alberta by the Ministry of Employment and Immigration in conjunction with Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). The program’s purpose is to expedite the processing of an application for permanent residence.

Foreign workers and foreign graduates from Canadian post-secondary institutions are eligible.

The AINP is designed to support Alberta's economic growth by attracting labour-market-destined immigrants to the province, and allowing them to get here and get to work without delay.

Individuals nominated by the Province of Alberta, together with their spouse and dependent children, are eligible to apply for a permanent resident visa through CIC as a Provincial Nominee. CIC expedites permanent resident applications from Provincial Nominees and makes final decisions on the permanent resident applications.

If you are considering living and working permanently in Alberta, the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) can help you through the immigration process.

West Edmonton Mall

"For something entirely different, a trek to Edmonton is definitely in order. The West Edmonton Mall, known as the largest indoor mall in the world, is an over-the-top experience that draws more visitors to Alberta than any other attraction in the province. The surreal shopping, eating, and entertainment arena is shoulder-to-shoulder with customers during the winter chill. Not only is it an architectural marvel with its domed curved glass ceiling, the larger-than-life complex boasts its own waterpark, amusement park, bungee tower, daily sea lion show, as well as mall hotel called the Fantasyland Hotel".
