Edmonton Energy and Technology Park

The Greater Edmonton Region is an innovation and research, service, refining and chemical centre for oil and gas produced in northern Alberta. The Edmonton area has superior access to feedstock and skilled labour. Transportation and logistics in the region are geared to the energy sector and the supporting infrastructure is world class.

The Edmonton Energy and Technology Park, located in northeast Edmonton, provides a vision for a new industrial area. The opportunity for value added industries and significant economic spin-off activity based on the development of Alberta’s oil sands was the catalyst for the development of this industrial plan.

River Valley and Parks

“The river valley is the city equivalent of having a secret identity. Of course, the secret is there, for everyone to see. You just have to be able to see the city for the trees.” A Tale of Two Cities – Stephen Hunt, Calgary Herald 07/10/2007
